A King-Collins Golf Course Design, Sweetens Cove is unlike any other.

Welcome to the foothills of the Sequatchie Valley, adjacent to Battle Creek in South Pittsburg, Tennessee. Sweetens Cove Golf Club is a public golf course located 30 minutes from Chattanooga in the central time zone.

Sweetens Cove is located in South Pittsburg, TN, approximately 30 minutes from Chattanooga. Sweetens Cove Golf Club is an easy day trip from neighboring cities like Nashville, Atlanta, Birmingham, and Knoxville.

On-Course Experience

Play fast and have fun. We've taken measures to ensure the on-course experience is built for maximum enjoyment, with wide fairways, big greens, and the opportunity to choose your own adventure in the way you place the course. Wear whatever you want and bring your dog if you want to. We like to say we have no rules, but we really have just one: don't infringe upon other people's enjoyment of the course. Keep up and be a good friend.

Where to Stay

If you're going to make a weekend out of playing Sweetens Cove and the surrounding courses, some of the best golf courses in Tennessee, we recommend staying in downtown Chattanooga. There are a handful of options closer to the course, but Chattanooga will offer the best assortment of hotel options, plus nearby restaurants and bars. 

Where to Eat

A trip to Sweetens Cove is synonymous with breakfast at Waffle House and lunch at Subway (ask us which one is the good Subway before you go). There aren't a lot of bells and whistles in South Pittsburg, so we suggest bringing snacks and drinks with you.
